
Michael Glynn Selected 2025 SUNYAC Men's Wrestling Scholar Athlete of the Year
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC honors RIT's Michael Glynn III as its 2025 Men's Wrestling Scholar Athlete of the Year. This award is nominated and voted on by the member sports information directors. Recipients are at least a sophomore, hold a 3.30 GPA or higher and display academic and athletic excellence as a starter or significant reserve.
Glynn finished eighth at the 2025 NCAA Division III championships to earn All-American honors. This season Glynn placed first at the D. Kenneth Ober Invitational and second at the RIT Invitational. He is the ninth wrestler in RIT program history to win 100 career matches. The senior finished his career with a 100-35-0 record.
Glynn is a mechanical engineering major with a 4.0 ovearll GPA. He was a 2025 NWCA Scholar All-American and was also named to the 2023-24 SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
