Condidorio, Asquith recognized by NSCAA Scholar All-East Region Team
Fredonia senior Reilly Condidorio and Brockport senior Erin Asquith have been selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) 2011 College Division Women Scholar All-East Region Team. Condidorio was announced as a member of the first team, while Asquith earned third team recognition.
In order to be nominated for this honor, student-athletes must have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average, start more than 50 percent of all games, be a significant contributor to their team, and earn at least junior academic standing.
Condidorio, a first team All-SUNYAC selectiong, recorded a 3.50 grade point average in Early Childhood Education while starting all 20 games for the Blue Devils. She scored 14 goals and accumulated 32 points -- both totals setting new single-season school records. In addition, her career totals of 82 points and 34 goals are also new school records set in the fall. She has one season of athletic eligibility remaining.
Asquith has compiled a 3.99 grade point average and is on her way to completing her degree in Physical Education/Health Science. Asquith started every game in the Brockport goal and played nearly every minute of the season for the third consecutive year. In 2011, she had a 1.05 goals against average and a .813 save percentage with six shutouts. She was a third team All-SUNYAC selection and was named to the Capital One Division III District III All-Academic team.
