SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has selected Brockprot's Jordan Thompson as the Women's Volleyball Offensive Athlete of the Week while Geneseo's Cecilia Dignan was named the Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Thompson led the Golden Eagle attack this past weekend in wins over both Plattsburgh and Potsdam. She had 15 kills in a 3-1 win over the Cardinals to go with four aces while on the serve. The next day she had 12 more kills in a 3-0 sweep over Potsdam. Brockport started off SUNYAC play 2-0 and improved to 6-8 overall.

Dignan led Geneseo to a 2-0 SUNYAC weekend with a pair of sweeps over Potsdam and Plattsburgh. Dignan recorded 6.0 digs per set, recording 23 against Potsdam and 13 against Plattsburgh.
