SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC recognizes Oneonta's Ashanti Davis and Cortland's Lexy Bloss as this week's Women's Volleyball Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week respectively.

Davis helped the Oneonta women's volleyball to a 2-0 weekend with wins over Plattsburgh and Potsdam. Davis finished with 30 kills on .622 hitting with six blocks, five digs, one ace, and only two errors. In the five-set thriller against Plattsburgh, Davis grabbed 11 kills on a .524 hitting percentage with no errors. She added three blocks and two digs. Then in the 31 over Potsdam, Davis continued the strong hitting with 19 kills on a .708 percentage. She also had an ace, three digs, and three blocks.

Bloss averaged 1.5 blocks per set in two Cortland road wins over the weekend. She recorded three blocks, two solo, along with seven kills in a 3-0 win at Fredonia Friday and had six block assists and three kills in a 3-0 win at Buffalo State Saturday.
