Geneseo Sweeps SUNYAC Men's Ice Hockey Weekly Awards

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Geneseo's Tyson Gilmour, Adam Harris and Luke Panchisin are this week's SUNYAC Men's Ice Hockey Player, Goaltender and Rookie of the Week respectively.

Gilmour was dominant for the Knights as they went 2-0 with big SUNYAC wins over Cortland and Oswego. In a 7-1 win over the Lakers, Gilmour posted a hat trick as well as two assists for a five-point performance to help the Knights hold onto the top seed in the conference.

Harris repeats as the Goaltender of the week and takes his third honor of the season after picking up wins over Cortland and Oswego last week. Harris tallied 73 saves and only allowed three goals over the two games for a save percentage of .961. Harris and the Knights defeated Cortland 3-2 and then cruised past the Lakers, 7-1.

Panchisin helped lead the Knights to a 2-0 week with wins over Cortland and Oswego. Panchisin posted two assists in a 3-2 win over Cortland, and then tallied a power play goal in a 7-1 win over Oswego for a three point week.
