
Plattsburgh Men's Ice Hockey's Belgrave, Bryer, Bulger, Butler, D'Addario, Lanyi, Poorman, and Singher Each Named AHCA All-America Scholars

GLOUCESTER, Mass. – Joshua Belgrave (Burlington, Ontario/Burlington Cougars), Paul Bryer (Clarkston, Mich./Islanders Hockey Club), Lonan Bulger (Yellowknife, Northwest Territories/Hobart College), Ryan Butler (Kelowna, British Columbia/Adrian), Tio D'Addario (Montreal, Quebec/Navan Grads), Jake Lanyi (North Salem, N.Y./Connecticut Jr. Rangers), Ryan Poorman (Phoenixville, Pa./Norwich), and Simon Singher (Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec/Navan Grads) of the Plattsburgh State men's ice hockey team have been named 2023-24 Krampade/American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American Scholars, as announced earlier this week by the AHCA.
In order to qualify for Krampade/AHCA All-American Scholar recognition, student-athletes must achieve a 3.75 GPA each semester and appear in 40% of the season's total games.
Bryer graduated with a degree in marketing and business and administration, while Butler graduated with a degree in finance. Belgrave is working towards a bachelor's in business administration, Bulger is currently undeclared, Lanyi is a business administration major and Poorman is working towards a degree in accounting and business administration. D'Addario and Singher, who each finished their first year in college, both are business administration majors.
Plattsburgh State went 21-5-2 overall and 12-3-1 in league play in 2023-24, falling in the conference championship game while also finishing the season ranked eighth in the national poll.
