MIDDLEBURY, V.T. – The SUNY Geneseo women's lacrosse team fell in the second round of the NCAA tournament at Middlebury, 19-4.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Alaina Reina got the scoring started for the Knights, driving through the defense and beating the goalkeeper to tie the score at 1-1 just three minutes into the action.
Geneseo's offense fell stagnant for the next two quarters, as they couldn't find the back of the net again until the fourth quarter.
In the final 15 minutes, Emily Salanger, Sophie Lyko, and Maira Brennan were all able to score to put together a solid performance in the final quarter from the Knights.

QUICK FACTS

Reina, Salanger, Lyko, Brennan, Molly Brown, and Megan Cook were all able to tally a point in the game.
Emily DeJohn recorded 49 minutes in goal and tallied seven saves, while Maggie Rosaschi notched two saves.
The Knights finished the season 15-5, tying last season's win total.
