The SUNYAC named Cortland junior guard Brian Manning Men's Basketball Player of the Week after helping lead the Red Dragons to a trio of wins on the road last week.

He started the week with 10 points and six rebounds in a 73-66 win over Brockport on Tuesday. Friday night, Manning scored a career-high 28 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the field (4-of-7 three-pointers) to account for nearly half of the Red Dragons' points in a 58-50 win at Potsdam. He followed that the next day with 16 points in a 65-58 victory at Plattsburgh. On the week he shot 54.3 percent from the field, 42% from the arc and 80% from the foul line.
