Oneonta Sweeps SUNYAC Softball Weekly Honors
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Oneonta teammates Megan Palmatier and Marissa Dionisio are being honored as the SUNYAC Softball Athlete and Pitcher of the Week respectively.
Palmatier went 3-for-5 with three home runs, four RBI, and scored four times in Oneonta's sweep over Cobleskill. Palmatier was 2-for-3 with two home runs in their game one victory over the Tigers. In game two, she hit a sacrifice fly then a solo home run in the sixth inning that tied the game before the Red Dragons won, 5-4
Dionisio pitched game one in Oneonta's sweep against Cobleskill. In their victory over the Tigers, Dionisio pitched the complete game, struck out seven of the 21 batters she faced, and allowed only one run off two hits.
