New Paltz to Host SUNYAC Softball Championship
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - New Paltz finished regular season conference play 16-2 to take the top seed and the right to host the SUNYAC softball double elimination championship for the first time in program history. The championship tournament will run from Thursday-Sunday, May 11-14.
New Paltz will face No. 6 Oneonta (10-8) to start the championship at 10 a.m. on Thursday. Following at noon, No. 2 Cortland (14-4) will play No. 5 Plattsburgh (11-7). Then at 3 p.m. No. 3 Geneseo (12-6) will take on No. 4 Buffalo State (12-6). The final game of the day will be beween the loser of game 1 and the loser of game 2 at 5 p.m. Games will continue on Friday at 10 a.m. View the full schedule here.
