Kilmer and Haley Tabbed SUNYAC Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The SUNYAC honors Buffalo State's Olivia Kilmer and Plattsburgh's Lauren Haley as its Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week respectively.
The freshman speech pathology major had a strong showing for the Bengals in their win over the Houghton Highlanders. Kilmer netted a pair of goals for the first multi-goal performance of her career. Kilmer also added an assist in the Bengals' effort against St. Lawrence on Saturday.
Haley led Plattsburgh to a SUNYAC win this week, as the senior goalie made six saves and posted her second shutout of the season in the team's league opening match at Fredonia. Haley played all 90 minutes, as she also added 90 minutes played and eight saves earlier in the week against Clarkson.
