SUNYAC Honors Madden and Meehan with Women's Soccer Weekly Awards
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC recognizes Fredonia's Bronwyn Madden and Oneonta's Bryanna Meehan as this week's Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week respectively.
In the Devils' only game of the week, Madden scored three times in leading the Devils to a 9-0 SUNYAC win over Canton. With five goals on the season, she is now tied for the SUYNAC lead with teammate Katie Sellers.
Junior Meehan picked up her fist shut out of the season as the Oneonta women's soccer team defeated Oswego 2-0 to open SUNYAC play. The goalkeeper made four saves in the win including a penalty kick save in the 39th minute to protect the shut out.
