2023 SUNYAC Winter Brackets Set

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The 2023 SUNYAC men's basketball, women's basketball and men's ice hockey championship brackets are set. Teams will compete to capture the conference title and earn an automic berth into the NCAA tournament.

Men's Basketball - full bracket

Oswego went 17-1 in conference play to earn the No. 1 seed and will host the SUNYAC men's basketball final four, February 24-25. Brockport (13-4) took the second seed and earned a bye into the semifinals. On Tuesday, February 21, first round games will feature No. 6 Geneseo (8-10) at No. 3 Corltand (13-5) with tip-off at 7 p.m. while No. 5 New Paltz (10-8) will travel to play No. 4 Oneonta (13-5) at 7:30 p.m.

Women's Basketball - full bracket

New Paltz went undefeated in conference play, 18-0, to earn the top seed and the right to host the SUNYAC women's basketball final four, February 24-25. Cortland (16-2) took the No. 2 seed and earned a bye into the semifinals. First round games will be played on Tuesday, February 21 and will feature No. 3 Oneonta (13-5) hosting No. 6 Potsdam (8-10) at 5:30 p.m. while No. 4 Geneseo (13-5) will host No. 5 Brockport (9-9) at 7 p.m.

Ice Hockey - full bracket

Both No. 1 Oswego and No. 2 Plattsburgh earned a bye into the SUNYAC men's ice hockey semifinals. First round games will feature No. 3 Geneseo hosting No. 6 Fredonia while No. 5 Buffalo State will travel to play No. 4 Cortland, February 22 at 7 p.m. Semifinals are set for February 25 hosted by the top two seeds. The final will be March 4 at the highest remaining seed at 7 p.m.
