SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Geneseo teammates Tyler Lewandowski and Cameron Houser were named the SUNYAC Men's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week respectively.
Senior forward Lewandowski lead the Knights on the offensive end this week totaling 10 points. In a win against Hilbert, Lewandowski scored three goals to earn the first hat trick in program history since Gavin Gleasman scored three goals against St. John Fisher in 2018. He also had two goals in a win vs. Elmira bringing his total to seven goals on the season.
Houser led the Knights defense to a 3-0 week, where they only allowed four shots on goal over three games. Houser led the back line of the defense to two shutouts, 3-0 over Alfred and 6-0 over Hilbert, and Geneseo has now won six-straight games with only two goals allowed.
