SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Kathleen McCarey, the senior from Geneseo, has been chosen as the SUNYAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for her performances during week three of the 2022 season.
At the Spartan Invitational, hosted by Michigan State University, Kathleen McCarey finished eighth overall, the second NCAA Division III student-athlete to cross the finish, with a time of 21:43.07. Running against NCAA Division I competition, the Knights took third place as a team, defeating defending NCAA Division III national champion Johns Hopkins (fourth) and several NCAA Division I institutions including Cincinnati and Western Michigan.
