GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo women's soccer team will travel to Williamstown, Mass. to face Stevens (N.J.) in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament this Saturday (Nov. 10) as the 64-team field was announced Monday.

The Knights (14-3-1) defeated Cortland, 1-0, last Saturday to clinch their second-straight and eighth overall State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championship and an automatic bid to the seventh NCAA Tournament in program history.

Geneseo is making its second-consecutive NCAA appearance after advancing to the NCAA Tournament third round last year. The Knights defeated Penn State Behrend, 2-1 (OT), and Misericordia, 1-0 (OT), in a pair of home contests before falling to Johns Hopkins, 2-0, in the regional semifinals at Williams.

Geneseo is making its sixth NCAA Tournament appearance, also qualifying in 2014, 2009, 1994, 1993 and 1992.

Stevens (15-2-0) won the Empire 8 Championship for the fourth-consecutive season, defeating Utica, 3-0, on Saturday. The Ducks have won 13-straight games and have only allowed two goals in their past six outings. Stevens fell to Brandeis, 3-1, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Williams last fall.

Williams will take on Univeristy of New England in Saturday's other first-round matchup with the winners advancing to Sunday's second round game.
