Fabrizio Places 14th at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Junior Isabella Fabrizio (Highland Mills, NY/Cornwall) concluded the indoor track season with a 14th-place finish in the shot put on Saturday afternoon at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships. She finished four spots higher than her seeding. Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Catie Fobbe was the national champion with a mark of 15.04 meters.
Fabrizio was ranked 18th heading into Saturday and had three attempts to throw. She opened with a mark of 12.34 meters. Fabrizio recorded her furthest throw on her second attempt at 13.16. She concluded the day with a 12.70 on her third and final try.
Fabrizio set the Oneonta school record in the shot put earlier this season at 13.63 meters.
