Francoeur Earns Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week Recognition
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Megan Francoeur from Oneonta has been named the SUNYAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second time this season.
Junior Francoeur won her second race of the season, running a personal best time of 22:01.7 on the 6k course at the Oneonta Airfield Invitational on Saturday morning. After running neck-and-neck for the entire race, Francoeur edged out the second-place runner from New Paltz by 4.5 seconds to win the race for the second year in a row.
