CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) winter championship brackets are set after the last regular season games wrapped up Saturday night across the conference.
Geneseo clinched the top seed in women's basketball finishing the 2018 regular season undefeated in the conference, 18-0. As the No. 1 seed, the Knights earned a bye into the semifinals and will host the final four February 23-24. Geneseo last won the SUNYAC crown in 2015 and will be playing for its sixth overall title. Plattsburgh men's basketball took the No. 1 spot in the conference with a 17-1 record and will host the final four February 23-24. The Cardinals look to win their first SUNYAC title since 2010 and seventh overall. Full Bracket
Oswego topped the men's ice hockey standings going into SUNYAC playoffs ending the regualar season 13-1-1 in conference play. The Lakers earned a bye into the semifinals on February 24 where they will play the lowest remaining seed after first round competition. Oswego will fight to capture its first SUNYAC title since 2014 and 11th overall. Full Bracket
