SUNYAC Selects Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week
CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) selected Brockport's Olivier Kothor (Rochester, N.Y.) as the Men's Track Athlete of the Week and Cortland's Micah Assibey-Bonsu, (Central Islip) as the Men's Field Athlete of the week.
Kothor continued his hot streak on the track, grabbing first-place in the 60m dash with a 7.00 finish and then followed it up with another first-place finish in the 200m dash.
Assibey-Bonsu finished first in the triple jump in a tri-meet at Ithaca College that also featured Oneonta. His winning distance of 14.47 meters (47' 5.75") currently ranks fifth nationally in Division III and second in the AARTFC.
Brockport and Cortland will both travel to Houghton this weekend for the Confrenece Championship meet.
