CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected its weekly awards for women's swimming and diving. Geneseo senior Nancy Nasky (Brighton, N.Y.) is the Women's Swimmer of the Week, while her teammate, junior Samantha Reichman, (Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y.) is recognized as the Women's Diver of the Week.
Nasky finished first in each event she raced as the Knights improved to 5-0 in dual meets with a 199-94 victory over Nazareth on Saturday. Nasky finished first in the 1000 free with a time of 10:41.39, first in the 500 free with a time of 5:08.67 and the 200 free, touching the wall in 2:00.02.
Meanwhile, Reichman finished first in both diving events as the Knights earned a 199-94 victory over Nazareth on Saturday. In the 1-meter, she scored a 283.70 on six dives and then scored 278.05 off the 3-meter board.
