Nestler earns last SUNYAC Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week this season
CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Brockport's Emily Nestler (Henrietta, N.Y.) as the last Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the 2018-19 season.
Nestler had a very consistent final week of the regular season for the Golden Eagles cliniching a fifth-place spot in the SUNYAC. She averaged 17.7 points, 7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1 steal in three games for Brockport. In her final home appearance for Brockport, Nestler notched a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards to lead them with a win. She caps the season off recording her 10th double-double of the year. The Golden Eagles will travel to Cortland on Tuesday, Feb. 19th to face the Red Dragons at 5:30 p.m. in the SUNYAC semifinal.
