Oswego, Fredonia advance to SUNYAC women's volleyball semifinals
Oswego (19-13) and Fredonia (22-9) will move on to the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) women's volleyball semifinals after winning first round games Wednesday night. No. 1 Geneseo will host the final four Friday and Saturday, November 2-3.
The sixth-seeded Oswego upset third-seed and host Brockport (18-10) in five sets, 3-2. The Lakers will will face second-seeded New Paltz, Friday at 4 p.m.
The fourth-seeded Fredonia outlasted fifth-seeded Postdam (13-18), 3-2, Wednesday night at Dods Hall in Fredonia. The Blue Devils will play the top-seed and host, Geneseo, Friday at 7 p.m.
