SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) tabs Oneonta's Anthony Foglia and Michael Losak as this week's PrestoSports Baseball Athlete and Pitcher of the Week.
Foglia had a breakout week for the Red Dragons, as they went 3-1 overall in SUNYAC competition. He led the offense hitting .588 and slugged 1.529. Foglia hit a home run in each of the three games versus New Paltz and drove in eight runs for the week. In the second game of the doubleheader against New Paltz, he hit for the cycle, which was the first time for an Oneonta player since 2004.
Losak recorded a pair of wins this past week in both his starts to even his season record at 4-4. In Monday's win against Fredonia, he recorded a collegiate high 14 strikeouts. For the week, Losak recorded 18 strikeouts in 15 innings of work.
