SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) first PrestoSports Women's Lacrosse Athletes of the Week for the 2022 season released. Oswego teammates Madison Davis and Sarah Kamide have been named the PrestoSports Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week respectively.
Junior Davis scored two goals against the No. 7 William Smith Herons in Oswego's opening contest. The Whitesboro native added two draw controls and a ground ball to her stat line. The Lakers return to action with a 3 p.m. contest at Clarkson on Wednesday.
Freshman Kamide opened up her Laker career with 16 saves against No. 7 William Smith in the team's 11-3 setback. Kamide saved 59.3% of the shots she faced on the day. Oswego heads north for a 4 p.m. contest at Clarkson on Wednesday.
