Cortland Captures 2021 SUNYAC Men's Soccer Title

CORTLAND, N.Y. - Cortland beat Oswego, 6-0, to captured its 19th overall State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's soccer title and first since 2016, Saturday at Cortland's Holloway Field. With the win the Red Dragons earned an automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA men's soccer tournament.

Lukas Rubio recorded a goal and an assist for Cortland while Blake Aronson, Anthony Ruggiero, Riley Williams, Mike Hunsucker, and Jack Coleman each netted a goal. Goalie Braden Melveney registered two saves in posting the shutout for the Red Dragons.

This year's men's soccer winner is Cortland's Braden Melveney holding a 3.87 GPA in business economics.
