SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Geneseo and Oswego clinched the top two seeds in the league and earned a bye into the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's ice hockey championship semifinals.
No. 3 Plattsburgh and No. 4 Cortland will host first round games Saturday, February 26 at 7 p.m. The top seeded Knights will face the lowest remaining seed while the second-seeded Lakers will play the second lowest remaining seed on Wednesday, March 2 at 7 p.m. The championship game is set for March 5 at 7 p.m. at the highest remaining seed. Geneseo won the last three SUNYAC ice hockey championship titles totaling seven overall. Plattsburgh leads the league with 22 overall conference crowns. There was no season in 2021 due to COVID-19.
