MacDonald and Williams Named PrestoSports Swimmer and Diver of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has picked Kimberly MacDonald from Geneseo and Taylor Williams from Cortland as its PrestoSports Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week respectively.

MacDonald she won the 500 and 1650 freestyle at the Bomber Invitational with times of 5:01.88 and 17:24.31. Her 1650 freestyle time was an NCAA B cut. She was also apart of the winning 800 free relay team.

Williams won both diving events to help Cortland capture the team title at the six-team Cortland Snow Flurries Invitational Friday and Saturday, and in the process qualified for the NCAA Division III Diving Regionals. She won the 1-meter board with a score of 412.75 points, which gives her the second necessary qualifying score in that event to earn a spot at regionals. She also won the 3-meter board with 423.10 points, which is her first time meeting NCAA standards on that board this season.
