SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Oswego is the top seed going into the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's basketball championship earning hosting rights and a bye into the semifinals. The second-seeded Oneonta also earned a bye into the semifinals along with the Lakers. The first round games will be hosted by No. 3 Brockport and No. 4 New Paltz Tuesday, February 22 at 7 p.m.
Brockport won the last SUNYAC men's basketball title in 2020 for its ninth overall win in program history. There was no competition in 2021 due COVID-19. Buffalo State leads the conference with 18 overall conference titles.
