Sposili and Williams Tabbed PrestoSports Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Geneseo's Lauren Sposili the PrestoSports Women's Swimmer of the Week, while Cortland's Taylor Williams has been named the Diver of the Week for the fourth time this season.

Sposili led the Knights into battle against No. 19 Case Western Reserve, earning victories in four different events. Sposili finished first in the 200 IM (2:14.09), the 1000 Free (10:49.98) and helped the squad finish first in the 200 medley relay (1:49.93). Sposili set a Geneseo Pool Record in the 200 breast, touching in 2:26.83, the eighth-fastest time in Geneseo program history.

Williams registered 11-dive scores of 413.10 points on the 1-meter board and 444.30 points on the 3-meter board in a meet at Ithaca College. She reached the NCAA regional 1-meter qualifying standard for the third time this season and the 3-meter NCAA regional standard for the second time. Williams had the best six-dive score at the meet on the 3-meter board (265.70 pts.) and the third-best six-dive score on the 1-meter board (244.50 pts.)
