SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) honors Windsor Ardner of Geneseo and Danielle Fisk of Cortland as PrestoSports Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week.
Ardner earned a pair of event wins helping the Knights to first place in the Geneseo Quad-Meet over the weekend. Ardner showed her range with a challenging double, placing first in both the 800 (2:15.15) and the 5,000 (17:17.62).
Fisk won the high jump at the Cortland Classic with a season-best height of 1.70 meters (5' 7"). She is currently tied for fourth nationally in Division III and ranks first in the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) and the SUNYAC. Fisk also finished fourth in the long jump with a distance of 5.00 meters (16' 5").
