Cortland and Brockport to play for 2022 SUNYAC Baseball Title

OSWEGO, N.Y. - Cortland and Brockport will play for the 2022 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) baseball championship crown, Saturday at noon at Laker Baseball Field.

Cortland is undefeated in the double elimination tournament defeating Brockport on Thursday, 6-5, and Oswego on Friday, 11-9. Brockport beat Plattsburgh, 12-3, Friday to avoid elimination.

The Cortland Red Dragons look to defend the title and win the program's 36th overall conference crown while Brockport is playing for its first title since 2010 and sixth overall.

Schedule

Day 3 (Saturday – May 14)
Game 6 – Cortland vs. Brockport – Noon
Game 7 – G6 Winner vs. G6 Loser - 3:30 p.m. (if necessary)

Elite 20

The SUNYAC Elite 20, is an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, which recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. Ryan Enos was named the baseball Elite 20 for the second year in a row. He has a 4.0 GPA as a health and wellness management major at Oswego.
