2021 SUNYAC Men's Soccer Championship Set; Cortland takes top seed

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Cortland finished the regular season 8-1 in the conference to take the top seed into the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's soccer championship. New Paltz (7-2) is the second seed and both teams earned a bye into the semifinals.

The fourth-seeded Bufflao State (5-3-1) will host No. 5 Geneseo at 5 p.m. while the third-seeded Oneonta (6-2-1) will host No. 6 Oswego (4-4-1) at 1p.m. on Saturday, October 30.

The winner of the Buffalo State/Geneseo game will travel to face Cortland and the winner of the Oneonta/Oswego game will go to New Paltz, Wednesday, November 3. 

The championship game is set for Saturday, November 6 at 1p.m. at the higher seed. Oneonta won the last championship in 2019. Cortland leads the league with 18 titles overall winning last in 2016.
