SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Buffalo State's Sheldon Adams its PrestoSports Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 21.
Adams led the Bengals offensively, averaging 35.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game in two contests during the Community Health Center of Buffalo Classic. He started the weekend with a career-high 39 points against Ohio Northern Friday, then followed it up with 32 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals without a turnover against John Carroll Saturday. The 71 points scored over the weekend are the most in the 36-year history of the 'Classic.
