SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected Ryan Cory of Cortland and Josh Feldberg of Geneseo as the PrestoSports Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week.
Cory broke a 14-year-old school record in the 3,000 meters by almost five seconds with his time of 8:24.83 at the Cornell University Marc Deneault Invitational Saturday. He was the top collegiate finisher in the race, and his time currently ranks second in the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) and the SUNYAC.
Feldburg set a program record and placed first in the triple jump with a distance of 14.74m at the the Conference Tune-Up at Nazareth on Friday.
