SUNYAC Coaches Discuss #BreakTheStigma for Mental Health Month

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) is honored to participate in the inaugural NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) mental health social media campaign this week as May is Mental Health Awareness month. The goal is to increase the awareness of mental health issues by starting a discussion surrounding, speaking out on and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Athletes from across the SUNYAC will be portrayed helping the conference participate in the campaign on social media. Today, the Oswego softball coach, Oswego women's lacrosse coach and the Plattsburgh baseball coach share what breaking the stigma means to them.
