CORTLAND, N.Y. - This week's State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Q&A is with the PrestoSports Men's Ice Hockey Goaltender of the week, Anton Rosèn (Orsa, Sweden).

Fredonia's Rosen made the Castleton Invitational all-tournament team after stopping 54 of 59 shots in two games. He posted his first collegiate shutout with a 28-save performance vs. Curry, ranked No. 15 at the start of the tournament. In addition, he was spotless over 68 minutes including a three-on-three tiebreaking overtime plus three rounds of a decisive shootout. He followed that with 26 saves in a 5-5 tie vs. Nazareth. The Blue Devils won the tournament in tiebreaking overtime.

Q&A: 

1-Do you have a hidden or special talent?

I love cooking food and the few people I share with seem to really enjoy it, so I guess that could be a hidden talent. 

2-Do you have any pre-competition rituals?

I used to have all sorts of rituals before games, but lately I have found myself more relaxed before games not focusing on as many rituals.   

3-What's your favorite memory since competing for your institution?

The playoff push we had my second year and to play in a SUNYAC final 

4-If you could have one song play every time you score/get a hit/win a race what would it be?

5-If you were stranded on an island, who would you want to be there with you, and why?

Superman and fly home  

6-What is your spirit animal?

Lion

7-What's the best advice anyone has given you?

Not to give up

8-What are some things you do to prepare for a game mentally?

I used to get very worked up an anxious in the past and it would not work in my favor, so I try to stay as calm and relaxed as possible and have a little fun.    

9-Do you have a motto you live by or say to yourself on occasion?

I have been trying to live with no regrets and to learn from my failures instead of being very hard on myself. 

10-If you could pick one person in the entire world to be a spectator at all of your games who

would it be and why?

My dad, growing up and playing in Sweden my dad would drive and watch me play regardless of where. So having him in the stands again as a spectator would be awesome for the both of us I think.
