CORTLAND, N.Y. - Clara Culeton (Oswego, N.Y.) and Lindsay Pelaccio (Verplanck, N.Y.) of Oneonta were named this week's PrestoSports Volleyball Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week.
Culeton, the junior middle blocker, paced Oneonta to a perfect 4-0 record this past week with wins over Hartwick, Wells, Keuka and Lebanon Valley. Culeton finished the week with 40 kills, averaging 2.86 kills per set with a .416 hitting percentage. Culeton was also a force at the net with 17 blocks.
Pelacciom the senior defensive specialist, helped pace Oneonta to a 4-0 record this past week. Pelaccio hauled in 70 digs as the Red Dragons defeated Hartwick, Wells, Keuka and Lebanon Valley.
