CORTLAND, N.Y. - Trinity Chow (Glen Cove, N.Y.) of New Paltz is this week's PrestoSports Women's Tennis Singles Athlete of the Week. Chow was also awarded with this week's PrestoSports Doubles Team of the Week along with Laura Koob (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.).
Chow went undefeated through three games against Geneseo, Fredonia and Brockport to help the Hawks clinch the No.1 seed in the SUNYAC playoffs. She dropped just one point total in a productive weekend. Chow won 6-1, 6-0 against Geneseo, then earned 6-0, 6-0 victories over Fredonia and Brockport.
Koob and Chow went undefeated in the Hawks' three victories over the weekend and dropped just one set total, defeating Geneseo, 8-0, Fredonia, 8-0 and Brockport, 8-1.
