CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) would like to announce this week's recipients of the PrestoSports Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week. Oneonta's William Coddngton and Brockport's Mark Eaton (Campbell, NY) earned these rewards respectively.
Coddington won two events and was part of three relays that finished second at the Diamond City Invitational hosted by Wilkes. Coddington's performances helped lead the Red Dragons to a second place team finish. Coddington posted personal best times of 22.31 and 48.91 in winning the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events respectively. He swam the leadoff leg for the 200, 400 and 800-yard freestyle relays.
Eaton grabbed a first-place finish in both diving events this past weekend with a score of 222.00 in the 1-meter and a score of 246.60 in the 3-meter dive.
