
2022 SUNYAC Swimming and Diving Championships - Day 1
BUFFALO, N.Y. – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) kicked off the 2022 men's and women's swimming and diving championship, Wednesday at the Burt Flickinger Aquatic Center at Erie Community College (ECC) in Buffalo, NY.
The championship will continue Thursday at 10 a.m. and run through Saturday. Click here for the full schedule of events.
Geneseo men's team of Griffin Merkling, Matthew Triaszin, Alex Jakubiak and Sean McClellan won the 800 freestyle relay in 6:53.52. The Geneseo women's team of Lauren Sposili, Nina Chicatelli, Kimberly MacDonald and Amaya DiGiovanni finished the 800 freestyle relay in 7:41.36 to take first place.
Trent Makowiec from Geneseo won the men's 3 meter dive with 541.35 points.

Tickets will be available for purchase on site. Doors open an hour before start times. Masks are required for all spectators at all times in the building.
