Strickland and Fisk recognized as PrestoSports Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) recognizes Geneseo's Jenna Strickland and Cortland's Danielle Fisk as the PrestoSports Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Strickland ran in three events for the Knights at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, hosted by Boston University. She placed 15th overall in the 60, finishing in 7.94, and led the Knights to a 3:57.25 finish in the 4x400, the 13th-fastest time in NCAA Division III this season. In the 200, Strickland set a Knights program record and raced to the fifth-fastest time in Division III with a 25.01 finish (converted to 25.40 by TFRRS).

Fisk finished first in a field of 37 competitors in the high jump at the Susquehanna University Invitational. She cleared 1.63 meters (5' 4.25"), which currently ranks 20th nationally in Division III, tied for second in the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC), and second in the SUNYAC.
