SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named New Paltz's Maddie Gillis its PrestoSports Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week.
Gillis posted her first career double-double Thursday on the road against Smith College. She scored a team-leading 15 points on an efficient 5-for-11 shooting from the field, while hitting both attempts from behind the arc and recorded a team-leading 10 rebounds, while also leading her team in assists as well with five to go along with one steal.
