SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has recognized Jenna Stirckland from Geneseo as its first 2021 PrestoSports Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week while Isabella Fabrizio from Oneonta has been named the Field Athlete of the Week.
At the Houghton Invite, Strickland won the 60-meter with a time of 7.90. She also won the 200 meter with a time of 26.05.
Fabrizio, competing for the first time as a collegian indoors, set the program record for the shot put. Fabrizio went 12.45 meters (40'10 ¼") eclipsing the old mark of 38'-9 ¾" by more than two feet. She also competed in the weight throw, posting a mark of 12.78 meters (41'-11 ¼").
