SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) honors Max Broadman of Oswego and Travis Wagner of Cortland as PrestoSports Men's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week.
Broadman doubled his season's point total this week with a total of 21 and 11 this week. Brodman has 12 goals and nine assists total this season. The Lakers are now 3-0 in conference and 8-2 overall. The Green and Gold have won seven straight games for the first time in ten years this past weekend.
Wagner helped lead Cortland (6-6, 3-0 SUNYAC) to a pair of wins last week, posting a 2-0 record with a 6.86 GAA, 21 saves and a .618 save percentage. In a 17-9 home victory versus Nazareth on Tuesday, Wagner matched his career high with 17 saves, allowing just six goals in 55:58. He then stopped four shots in 57:49 as the Red Dragons defeated Brockport, 14-7, on the road Friday night.
