Brockport's Jeziorski Places 16th in Long Jump on Day One of NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Brockport's Josh Jeziorski placed 16th in the men's long jump competition with a leap of 6.74m on opening day of the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio Thursday. 

Jeziorski's top jump of the day came on his first attempt as he registered a 6.74m.  He recorded a leap of 6.72m on his second jump before finishing his day with a jump of 6.69m. 

Jeziorski was making his second straight NCAA appearance at Brockport and the third of his career.  He qualified ranked 11th out of 20 in the long jump with a distance of 7.41m.  Last Spring at Buffalo State he qualified for the outdoor nationals and placed 14th with a distance of 6.70m.  This past indoor season as a member of the Golden Eagles jumps squad, he placed 16th at nationals with a distance of 6.75m.  Jeziorski is now a two-time SUNYAC Champion in the long jump.
