New Paltz takes 2022 women's basketball SUNYAC title
CORTLAND, N.Y. - New Paltz won the 2022 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) women's basketball championship title for the third consectutive time, Saturday night at Cortland. With the win the Hawks earned an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
Brianna Fitzgerald helped lead the Hawks past the Red Dragons, 66-63, and was named the Tournament MVP after totaling 31 points, 15 rebounds and five assists in the semfinal and final games.
