SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected Potsdam's Ryan Orcutt as its PrestoSports Men's Swimmer of the Week and Brockport's Mark Eaton as the Diver of the Week.
Orcutt claimed three solo victories and helped the Bears to three relay wins in his first two collegiate meets this weekend. On Saturday, he helped the Bears defeat Brockport with wins in the 100 Freestyle (49.99) and the 100 Butterfly (56.56). He was also part of the winning 200 Medley Relay and 200 Freestyle Relay Teams. On Sunday in a road loss to Skidmore, Orcutt won the 100 Butterfly in 57.28 and helped Potsdam win the 400 Medley Relay.
Eaton earns his third Diver of the Week honors this season after he took first place in both diving competitions he took part in over the weekend. He posted a score of 254.60 to win the 3-meter diving event. Eaton also won on the 1-meter board with his mark of 248.10.
