Baptiste Tabbed PrestoSports Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Tyrese Baptiste from Potsdam its PrestoSports Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week.
Baptiste helped the Bears to a split this weekend, averaging 22.5 points-per-game and 17.5 rebound-per-game. He scored 22 points and grabbed a career-high 21 rebounds in a 75-72 win over New Paltz on Friday. On Saturday, he scored 23 points and totaled 14 boards as the Bears were edged by Oneonta in overtime.
