SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference has selected Cortland's Mackenzie Dickman and Taylor Williams as its PrestoSports Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week respectively.
Dickman won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:13.77) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:41.43), and swam the 100-yard breaststroke leg in 1:14.17 on Cortland's winning 400-yard medley relay, in the Red Dragons' 173-77 dual-meet victory Saturday over visiting Fredonia. Cortland was leading by just five hundredths of a second after the first leg of the relay before Dickman extended the margin to more than eight seconds.
Williams earns her sixth weekly honor this season after she won both diving events in Cortland's 173-77 dual-meet victory over Fredonia. She posted 11-dive scores of 466.20 points on the 3-meter board and 449.70 points on the 1-meter board.
